One doesn't have to travel as far as Europe to find bicultural identity issues. Just a few miles north of here you find a whole country who's been culturally, linguistically, and economically been split for the better part of it's existence.

We didn't see the bulk of it, but there were significant efforts that were undertaken to ensure that all of the Olympic events and communications adhere to Canadian bilingual requirement laws.

Gracias por el apoyo Gene - I think ;).

Personally, I really enjoy glass houses - they let a lot of sunlight in and generally remind you that there is a world outside our sometimes parochial day-to-day.

Saludos,

Jose

Hello,

If you have a moment, I'd like to introduce you to my new children's book called The Many Colors of Friendship. Realizing how important it is to give our children tools and the right education about Diversity;Multiculturalism and Racism, I wanted to write something meaningful that children come come away with a positive message. This book means the world to me and I'd like to share it with you. My 7 year old daughter, Katherine, also wanted to help write it and has inspired my life beyond words.

I hope you like it!

Thank you,
Rita Kaye Vetsch

You had an opinion and gave it. So what if it made people uncomfortable! Live by it regardless if you live in a glass house. It will be interesting to see how you incorporate your concepts of online/interactive success in the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies website your team has designed.

Excellent points! The race is on for the bi-cultural consumer. We have certainly grown beyond the 3-part model.

Kind of a late awakening, though, by Google since they are way behind on certain local markets such as Russia (Yandex), China (Baidu) and South Korea (Naver). GOod feature, though, and hopefully this demonstration of localized feature will lead the way for other global brands to go more local in their global applications.
