The Pew Hispanic Center and the Pew Internet and American Life Project released a report today on Hispanic Online usage titled “Latinos Online, 2006-2008: Narrowing the Gap.”

I have not read the report yet, but the main takeaway that the press release emphasizes is that between 2006 and 2008, internet usage among Hispanic adults increased from 54% to 64% and continues to grow much faster than the general market.

I consider the Pew Hispanic Center to be the best source of information on the US Hispanic market, and the Pew Internet and American Life Project to be one of the best sources of information on new media usage across the United States. I will give the report a close look and do another post soon.
