AP Story on Multicultural Advertising
There is an interesting story working the wires by the AP regarding multicultural advertising in the post-Obama election world.
The piece prompts an interesting question – does multicultural advertising reflect the world we live in today or is it helping shape the world. The classic “chicken or the egg” question.
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Jose

Hi Jose,
I would say that it you are right, it is a bit like the chicken and the egg question. But I would have to say that our industry does not fully direct social trends.
Rather, we tend to amplify them onto a much more visible stage and to me this would be the case with the AP story that you have referenced.
By the way, it’s a small world. I was mentioning to my partner-Joshua Wanyama something about this blog and he told me that you two had actually met at a multi-cultural conference in Minnesota last year. Anyhow, this is a very strong blog. Take care.
