Think Multicultural

Those of you that subscribe to HispanicAd.com have probably noticed a lot of emails recently requesting nominations for their Media Planning and Media Executive of the Year awards. After sending multiple email calls for nominations a few weeks back, they have started sending emails titled “Is your nominee listed for the HispanicAd.com 2007 ‘Media Planning & Media Executive’ of the Year?”

Now, here’s the thing. I have submitted nominations that are not showing up in these emails. I’m not the only one experiencing this - many of my colleagues and media partners are also not seeing their nominations.

It’s not 100% clear what the nomination selection process is here. I’m not asking that my nominations be accepted, but I would appreciate understanding the process. This is a case where a little transparency would go a long way…
