A couple of days ago, Univision and the University of Miami announced two forums that will focus exclusively on issues of particular interest to the Hispanic community.

The first will occur on September 9 in Coral Gables, Florida, and will include all of the major Democratic presidential candidates. The second will be a week later on September 16, involving Republican candidates.

Both events will be broadcast in primetime on Univision’s television, radio and online platforms.

These are terrific events and hopefully will encourage Hispanics to get out and vote next year.
