Fox International Channels has acquired Directa Networks, an ad network for Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking audiences. This is a follow on to FIC’s acquisition of ClickDiario a couple of weeks ago. Both networks are to be rolled up into something called DirectaClick.FOX.

The two networks Fox has acquired are headquartered in Latin America and almost all of their impressions originate in Latin America; and the unit of Fox that acquired them is Fox International Channels, so it seems that they’re targeting Latin America’s burgeoning online economy more than the US Hispanic market. Nonetheless, it stands as a recognition by a very big player that the Spanish speaking online market is very real.
